While scanning through some Google images trying to find an early years photo for our first blog post, we stumbled upon a photo Lane had taken that was named one of the Baltimore Sun’s 2012 Pictures of the Year. It was an image he took of tornado damage in Thurman, Iowa for Reuters.
He didn’t even know.
It’s probably not as cool as the time one of his images was picked as for a “Reader’s Choice” award for MSN’s Photos of the year, or the time his work appeared in Time Magazine’s pictures of the month. But still really cool! There are some really amazing photos in that collection.
Never too late for a feather in the cap, is it?
